SPAN is built privacy-first. The app does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your personal data. Everything you create stays on your device.
None. SPAN does not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal information. We do not operate any servers that receive your data, and we do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
All of your content (your projects, time sessions, and related settings) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you have iCloud enabled, this data may sync across your own devices through your private iCloud account, which is controlled entirely by Apple and your Apple account settings. We never have access to it.
SPAN does not require an account: every feature works without signing in. Sign in with Apple is offered as an optional convenience. If you use it, Apple provides the app with a unique identifier and, optionally, a name and an email address (which you may choose to hide using Apple's private relay). That information is stored on your device only, to personalise the app. It is never transmitted to or stored by us.

SPAN is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If we ever update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be reflected within the app where appropriate.
